Student Support

Project SUPERB was recently awarded a five-year $1.05 million grant by the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Special Education Programs.

Project SUPERB will prepare a total of 24 fully-credentialed, high-quality bilingual school psychologists to improve teaching and learning by ensuring that language differences and assessment of the need for special education services are competently assessed for the purpose of appropriate educational interventions.

Cost of Attending Texas State

Students in Project SUPERB will take 12 credit hours per long semester (fall and spring), as well as some summer course work. To estimate the cost of attendance, please refer to the Financial Aid website's Cost of Attendance links.

Financial Aid

We have received a grant from the U.S. Department of Education to support students in Project SUPERB with a stipend, travel funds, and other financial benefits. Applicants are also encouraged to visit the Texas State Financial Aid website for additional resources.

Please note that  stipends are classified as "competitive scholarships" and are considered by the Office of Financial Aid when determining need for support.
