The first step is to apply to the School Psychology program. On your application, you should indicate in your statement of intent that you're interested in becoming a Project SUPERB scholar. We will schedule an interview and language proficiency assessment.
Project SUPBER scholars receive a stipend for each year that they are in the program (approximately $11,000 in Year 1, $8,000 in Year 2, and $6,000 in Year 3). Note that Year 3 is the internship year in which students are typically paid by the school district. Click here for more information about financial aid and the cost of attending Texas State.
Currently we do not, and the funding we received for Project SUPERB is restricted to students who are pursuing their school psychology degrees. We are exploring options for post-degree bilingual certification and will post any information that becomes available.
